Growing in the Grace of Giving
The challenge and benefits of giving to the Lord and his work should be boldly presented to the people of God.
Christians need to be aware of the promises God makes specifically to givers. Please note three of those promises which appear on the Growing In The Grace Of Giving Commitment Card.
They need a vision of what their giving has and will accomplish. The souls being saved, the missionaries being sent, the disciples being trained and the human needs being met.
They need to be encouraged to be led by the Holy Spirit to grow in the grace of giving. The Growing in the Grace of Giving Commitment Card has been prepared to assist Christians in this noble endeavor.
One of the prime times of the year to have this emphasis would be when the Annual Church Budget is being prepared and approved. This process informs the congregation to what their giving is accomplishing.
